International company that produces cosmetics, sports nutrition and dietary supplements is looking for a New Product Development Manager
Job Responsibilities:Performing variable types of regulatory related researches including raw materials assessments, coordinating RSM regulatory specifications and compiling regulatory enquiries answers from all RSM countries specialists
Monitors and reviews day-to-day activity of direct reports and reports in the matrix environment, which includes responding to their inquiries and ensuring that communications are accurate and directed at the correct audience.
Ensures the continued development of reports.
Creates semi-annual proposals to the direct supervisor on how to improve the department’s structure, responsibilities, and interpersonal strategies, with an emphasis on staff retention.
Recruits direct reports with the assistance of Human Resources and the department head.
Support Regional Marketing and Innovation new product development process.
Support New Country Opening by reviewing product formulas for compliance with local regulation.
Feedback regulatory issues regarding ingredient usage, product category and market acceptance.
Insure NPD specialists gather data from the regions, create charts to track project status and applicable information and relay information to other departments.
Assist with the review of new preliminary and concept formulas to determine ingredient acceptability and appropriate product classification for RSM NPD initiatives and launches.
Review and approve in Agile: product formulas, pilot formulas, raw materials, stability results, local claim documents, product revision requests, TDAs related to formula/ raw material changes.
Monitor general and product-specific regulatory developments and communicate those issues along with tangible recommendations in a timely fashion to management and other departments where necessary.
Review local marketing materials for NPD and provide regulatory assessment in a timely manner.
Develop general knowledge of regulations governing raw material substances and attributes.
Supervise NPD specialists based in Moscow or in defferent EMEA markets. Number of reports may evolve to fit the needs of the evolution of the department

Requirements:Bachelor’s/ master degree in biology, chemistry, food science or related field preferred.
4-5 years experience ideally in the field of food/ food supplements regulations.
Fundamental understanding of Russian Regulations.
Fluency in English, other languages are welcome.
Proven organization skills and ability to multitask.
Ability to systematically analyze problems and propose thorough, efficient, and creative solutions.
Experience in a fast-paced setting with evolving goals and objectives.
